We are a Free Company with the belief that a welcoming and fun environment for both new and veteran players is what makes this game so special, and we wanted to create a community as an extension of that mentality.
About Us
The Sea of Stars is a casual, social free company on the Coeurl server. Founded and primarily led by LGTBQ+ women. We are focused on inclusivity, kindness, helpfulness and curating a space where everyone can feel safe and comfortable to be themselves. We started off as a group of friends first and a free company second.
We are looking for like-minded individuals to expand our social circle and to help create a flourishing community. We enjoy running in-game content of different varieties and hosting social events both in and out of game.Find us at our Free Company house and lounge!

Rules
As a casual and social free company, we don't impose strict playtime or skill requirements on our members. We welcome everyone in The Sea of Stars to play however and whatever they'd like with no pressure. All that we ask is that members are courteous and respectful of one another.
We have curated the following rules to ensure our community remains friendly, pressure-free, respectful, and welcoming environment.
The Sea of Stars is an 18+ free company. Although we are strictly SFW, we do this for our own comfort as well as yours as we are an adult free company who will occasionally talk about mature topics or use curse words.
We are happy to have new members invited to either our Discord server or the free company, but please use your best judgement when sending invitations out to strangers.
⋆ FC members should be mindful, polite and respectful when chatting in TSoS channels, whether that's in-game or in discord. We do not tolerate the use of insults, name-calling and bullying, racism, homophobic and transphobic remarks, or otherwise offensive remarks. Let it be known that we will not tolerate debates about topics such as, but not limited to, black lives matter, homelessness, LGBTQ+ issues or other civil rights issues.
⋆ FC members are to refrain from posting or discussing NSFW related content in TSoS chat channels as we are a community server. Although we are 18+, we would like to follow Discord's rules for community servers. Please take these discussions to direct messages.
⋆ Withdrawals from the FC chest are to be made in moderation and are to be used for personal use only. You may request items from locked tabs. You may not use the FC chest as your own personal storage.
⋆ Free Company buffs are determined by majority vote and typically have a fixed schedule, but are subject to change. Members currently have the ability to set buffs themselves, but if it is abused, it will be taken away.
⋆ MSQ discussion is not permitted in game chat or outside of expansion-specific spoiler channels in Discord. We do this for our sprouts and returning players who wish to experience the story in its entirety. Please be courteous.
⋆ Gil selling or the use of "gold sellers", botting, cheats, and any other breaches of EULA (End User License Agreement) are strictly prohibited and may result in a dismissal from the FC. Please report anything suspicious to the officers.
⋆ Don't be a jerk. TSoS is a casual community and we do our best to curate a friendly, welcoming environment for our members. Use common sense and and good manners.

⋆ What is TSoS looking for? ⋆
We are looking for players from all backgrounds including sprouts, returning players and veteran players alike who share a common mindset and enjoy our vibes.
⋆ Can I join your Discord server before becoming a member of the FC? ⋆
Of course. If you join the Discord and decide you don't want to join the free company, you are more than welcome and encouraged to stay in the server and be a part of the community.
⋆ Can I invite my friend to the free company or the Discord server? ⋆
Yes, you can! We welcome any and all individuals, given that they are respectful and courteous of others. Please use your best judgement and discretion when inviting others to either the free company or the Discord community, and don't forget to introduce yourself and your friends!
**You don't need permission to invite others, just please make sure your server profile name reflects your character's name.
⋆ Do you have a Free Company house? ⋆
Yes! We are located on Crystal - Coeurl - Mist W11 P21!
⋆ Are you a raiding FC? ⋆
In short, no. TSoS is a casual, social free company without a raiding focus. Some of our members are interested in end-game raiding, but we do not have a static raid team.
⋆ Are you a roleplaying FC? ⋆
No. We have members that engage in roleplay frequently, but as a free company, we are not roleplay based.
⋆ Can I host my own events? ⋆
Yes, absolutely! Anyone is welcome to host their own in or out of game events. We ask that you please use Discord to coordinate major or social events so everyone has a chance to join if they are interested.
⋆ Can I invite my alt to the FC? ⋆
Yes, of course. Please let an officer know if you are bringing an alt in so we know who that character belongs to. Members who are inactive for six months or longer may be removed at officer discretion. If member cap were to be reached, we will prioritize removing alt characters over main characters.
⋆ What if I want or need to take a break from Final Fantasy 14? ⋆
That's no problem! If you do plan on taking a break for longer than 90 days, please let an officer know to avoid possible removal from the free company during an inactivity clear.
⋆ How big will this FC be? ⋆
Our goal has never been and never will be numbers. We don't have an anticipated or expected size for our free company, we are just looking to build a tight-knit community of friends.
